Hi All,
I have such exciting news! I have started working part time at the Ridgewood Public Library. I am officially a Library Assistant and I am so excited about it! I will be at my happy place 3-4 times a week at the circulation desk, so if you are local, please come say hi!
It is so fun to be learning something completely new. I come home each day a lot energized and also a lot tired. My brain is working in new ways and I love that experience. I watch the women I work with fly through steps that take me a long time to complete. It is challenging to be the beginner again but also such a fun reminder that it is so good for me emotionally and intellectually to do something out of my comfort zone.
I will say that between Christmas, the new year, a new job and moving Caroline into her first off campus house (how is my baby old enough to be living on her own in a house!?), I have not read, listened or watched as much as I usually do. I am currently riding the train back from Richmond and I am exited to get back to a bit of a routine. For now, though, here is what I am reading, listening to and watching.
As always, please share what you are loving- I can’t wait to catch up with you all!
xo,
Stacey

Ahhh, I'm so jealous! Every time I see a part-time position open at the library, I always stop and think about applying! Sounds like you're loving it, and I hope to run into you soon.
It is always a blessing to love what you do
