Hi All,
What a week. We traveled to Copenhagen to see Caroline who is spending her semester there studying education and traveling as much as she can. It was so, so wonderful for the four of us to to be back together, exploring and seeing all the beauty and history that is Copenhagen.
As we loved our time together, we held all our Jewish friends in our hearts as we continue to do now. I am reading and listening and watching all I can in an attempt to understand more of what is happening in the region and I will share here and on social media as I find pieces that have helped me. What I know for sure now is that there is no history or current government policies that justify last weekend’s attack. I also know that this is the time to tell the Jewish people in our lives that we love them. Beyond that, I am learning and growing with you all.
Given our travels, my reading, watching and listening this week is light. I am getting better at combating my anxiety around flying. That said, I still find watching TV gets me through a flight better than reading so I consumed a lot of Grey’s Anatomy over the past week :)
I look forward to hearing what you are reading, listening to and watching these days. Please comment to let me know!
xo,
Stacey

I can recommend the CNN podcast “ Tug of War”. It started with Clarissa Ward’s reporting from Ukraine and has developed to include the current situation.
Also, Julia Ioffe has a 3 episode podcast “about a boy”. All about Putin’s early days.
