Hi All,
I can’t stop thinking about the idea of August being the Sunday of summer. It is and I don’t like it. I always look forward to summer but for some reason, this year, I was especially excited. And maybe by coincidence or maybe because I spent so much time counting down the days till summer would arrive, I feel like the season flew by faster than ever. Caroline has been in Europe for her semester abroad for over a week and Katherine starts her senior year of high school in less than two weeks. There is a part of me that is ready to start making soups and wearing sweaters but that part of me is far smaller than the part that wants to go the beach again and eat s’mores around the fire pit.
Sigh… well at least there are good things to read, listen to and watch to get me through this transition!
As always, let me know what you have been enjoying :)
xo,
Stacey
