Reading. Listening. Watching.
Hi All,
What a week. From the arraignment of a former president to the removal of dually elected Tennessee representatives, the world of politics has moved quickly and stressfully over the past few days. And then in the background (or foreground depending on how you look at it I suppose), we have really been enjoying Katherine’s spring break staycation. We’ve been in to NYC for an early 17th birthday celebration and to see both Dancin’ and Funny Girl. And now, Katherine is visiting Caroline at Richmond and Rob and I are dipping our toes in to the world of empty nesting.
This morning, Rob and I took a walk and these geese caught my eye- one sound asleep, the other keeping watch. Nature has itself figured out doesn’t it? As the world continues to spin, may we all have the chance to both rest and look out for those resting this holiday weekend.
As always, below are the things I read, watched and listened to this week. Please don’t forget to share yours in a comment or by replying directly to this email!
xoxo,
Stacey
