Hi All,
Before I get to this week’s Reading. Listening. Watching., I have the best story to tell you all.
This morning, our closing question in yoga was ‘what would your tattoo say?’ I thought we were all hitting it out of the park with responses like simplicity, balance and breath until one yogi said ‘je t’aime.’ I love you.
And this was not just a great answer. For her this is the real deal. One day in Paris, she got the tattoo you see above.
So every day, she has a visual reminder that, at her core, she loves herself. She went on to say that it took her a long time to get to this place but she is there and she has a constant reminder if she starts to forget.
How brilliant is that?
So… while I definitely do not see a tattoo in my future (ouch!!), I aspire to believing enough in myself to permanently write the words ‘j’aime’ on my arm.
I would love to know what your tattoo would say (or says!) along with what you are reading, listening to and watching this week.
And I will have much more to say at a later date about the ending of two of my favorite shows on the same week… what am I going to do without my favorite characters to hate (Succession) and love (Ted Lasso)?!
xo,
Stacey
