Hi all,
This week was filled with clearing my calendar for jury duty, going to jury duty (one day virtually and one day in person at our county courthouse shown above) and then being relieved that I wasn’t chosen to sit on a case that was scheduled to last two weeks. The whole experience was quite interesting and made me think a lot about what it means to be tried by a jury of your peers. And we, like many others, are obsessed with the new show Jury Duty which made my experience this week all the more enjoyable!
Also a reminder that May’s BYOB(ook) is scheduled for Monday at noon. Please click HERE for details and for the Zoom link. BYOB(ook) is taking a summer vacation after next week’s get together so please join us to stock up on book titles for all your summer reading!
Onward to this week’s Reading. Listening. Watching. And as always, please let me know what you are enjoying these days!
xo,
Stacey
