Hi All!
I am having such a love-hate relationship with social media these days. I typically post after I finish a book and I just haven’t done so in the past few months. So… I thought it would be fun to share everything all at once. On Substack, I created a section called Booklists and have shared a bit about each of the books I read this season.
I have had some serious ‘slumpy’ periods since January 20th, but I am doing my best to keep turning the pages. By reading, I am both giving my brain a bit of rest while also learning a lot about what it is happening in the world. Click HERE to see what I have read and enjoyed (or not!) over the past few months.
And as always, I am sharing what I am reading, watching and listening to below and I would love for you to do the same!
xo,
Stacey

(2010; 1h 40m; R; US) is based on the novel of the same name by Christopher Isherwood. Set in Los Angeles in 1962, at the height of the Cuban missile crisis, it is the story of a British college professor (Colin Firth) who is struggling to find meaning to his life after the death of his long time partner. The story is a romantic tale of love interrupted, the isolation that is an inherent part of the human
